Answer:
There is no word yet, some rumors are floating around the internet but it all started by a fake facebook post someone put on the HTC facebook page saying it was so far HTC has said nothing about bring ICS to the thunderbolt, while the thunderbolt was advertised to be this super powerful phone look at the specs and you will see its only running a 1ghz dual core processor which really isnt as powerful as some of the other phones on the market most high end phones now run off at least a 1.2 dual core processor so i wouldnt hold my breath HTC has announced a handful of devices that for sure will be getting it (such as the evo 3D) the thunderbolt was not on that list.
